Hello,
The entrance exam to get admission in IIT is JEE MAIN and then JEE ADVANCED. The syllabus for JEE is the 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics syllabus. So, during your 11th and 12th, keep your fundamentals clear and practice the sums. If you want to take a break after class 12th, then you can take a break and prepare for JEE. After the preparation, you can appear in both JEE exams and then get into IIT.
Hope your doubts are cleared by now. Thank you.
