Creativity is key to doing well in this field, creative visualization is more important and if you can just sketch your ideas then it is about implementation. You don’t need to be an artist but learning to draw to a certain level of competence is a must.
All top ranked institutes have a minimum 10+2 education, plus there is an entrance examination and you will be required to present your portfolio in your interview and admission is based on talent. The entrance examination is to see if you meet minimum standards.

The whole career is based upon drawing and finishing.. So if you aren't good at drawing, this course will be very difficult for you as you proceed in deeply. You'll face lots of difficulties later. So think upon it whether you need to do that only. Or else work on improving your drawing and finishing skills because you need to crack the exam which will have drawing paper for sure to be eligible to get a decent graduation college.
