Yes you're going in the right direction. Firstly you need to apply and clear IMU CET for getting admission into any college of Marine Engineering. After clearing IMU-CET you have to apply for the counselling for the colleges affiliated to IMU . But for private colleges like TOLANI MARITIME INSTITUTE, ANGLO-EASTERN MARITIME ACADEMY etc. You need to apply separately after clearing IMU CET.

If you are interested to take admission for Marine Engineering, you can apply for IMU CET Entrance Exam, As per the eligibility to apply for the exam, You should have passed 12th standard qualifying examination with aggregate marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Atleast 50% marks should have been secured by the candidates in English.
For SC/ST category candidates, there is a relaxation in marks. However, no relaxation will be provided in English. You can check the further eligibility with the given below link.
