I want to do M.B.A in finance/H.R. within the country only, so which entrance exam should i have to give. CAT/G-MAT/CET/SNAP e.t.c.,??
Ideally you should appear in as many entrance exams you can to increase the pool of colleges you are eligible to. Some of the top exams are CAT, XAT, SNAP, IIFT, TISSNET, NMAT, MH-CET, MAT.
All the best!
Hello Vicky,
Not just for MBA in HR or Finance but for MBA in any speciality you can give any of the exams amongst CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, NMAT, CMAT. GMAT is mostly needed by those who wish to do MBA from any foreign country. In India the most common and preferred entrance for MBA is CAT and is widely accepted by most of the colleges across the India. Hope this might help you.
Among these exams CAT is the most difficult and popular exam whose score is almost accepted by all the colleges and it also leads you to the topmost colleges like IIMs in our country. So, start preparing for these exams and try to score very high percentile in these exams in order to get a call for second round of interview, GD and WAT. After clearing second round only you will get admission in any college for pursuing full-time MBA for 2-years.
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
