You can do it, in fact after b.sc you can do any m.sc degree. However there is a process, you will have to clear a written examination, then you will be called for an interview. After all that is done, you are eligible to do M.sc in biotechnology.

You are eligible for MSc biotechnology as you have done BSc in biosciences. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in M.Sc Biotechnology is as follows: The candidate must hold a B.Sc degree in Biotechnology/ Biology/Biosciences/food science/ Microbiology/Nursing or B. Pharma/ BPT/BMIT. Minimum percentage in qualifying examination should be 55%.
You have to qualify in certain entrance exams like IIT JAM or other university entrance exams to get entrance into this course. An interview may be asked too.
Some colleges for MSc biotechnology:-
After post-graduation, you can apply for a doctoral program and from then you can engage yourself in post-doctoral research. A majority of students prefer to do their PhD and post-doctoral research from foreign universities.
