Geography is a field of study with many opportunities and there are several colleges that provide various courses and programmes related to geography. Masters in geography can be done with two streams either MA geography or MSc geography. For MSc geography the best colleges are:
- Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi
- Jamia Milia Islamia College, Delhi
- University of Calcutta, Kolkata
- Indian Institute Of Technology, Kanpur
- Presidency College, Chennai
