I want to do M.tech in Structural engineering but my percentage is 45.5 what should I do

MTech Structural Engineering is a 2-year post graduate program. It is a specialized branch of civil engineering that deals with concepts such as structural design, structural stability, general safety, and various others. The course is especially helpful to those who want to get into the construction business and understand how to construct tall buildings, bridges, dams, flyovers and similar such modern structures. The course is spread across four semesters; each of six months duration.
To apply for MTech Structural Engineering, the candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related fields such as architectural engineering, construction technology and infrastructure engineering. Admissions to the program are done mainly based on the performance of the candidate in the GATE and PGEE exams. Some of the colleges conduct their own entrance tests.
The eligibility criteria for MTech Structural Engineering is given below:
- The minimum criteria for applying for the M.Tech Structural Engineering program is a B.E./B.Tech degree in civil engineering from a recognized college or university in India.
- The candidate should have scored at least 60% marks in their undergraduate degree.
- The cut-off, however, varies from college to college. Some colleges may accept a lower score.
