Hi
You cannot go for ob/gyn i. e Obstetrics & Gynaecology in your mbbs i. e you cannot become obstetrician-gynecologist with just mbbs degree
This is because,
To become obstetrician-gynecologist one needs to do MS i. e master of surgery /MD i. e doctor of medicine in Obstetrics & Gynaecology which are post graduate degrees which you can do after mbbs.
Here's a brief of how you can become obstetrician-gynecologist :-
* First of all you need to do mbbs.
*Admission in Mbbs is through NEET examination
* Pass your 12th with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if you belong to general category , or at least 45% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to ph category or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st to be eligible for neet.
*Appear for Neet examination and qualify it . You should try to get at least around 575-600 marks to get an mbbs seat in a government medical college if you are from general category
*Then attend counselling and then on the basis of marks or Rank obtained by you in NEET examination you will get a seat for MBBS in a medical college .
* After the completion of MBBS, you need to appear for PG entrance examination, currently, some of the PG entrance examinations include:-
-) Neet PG ,
-) AIIMS PG
-)PGIMER
-)JIPMER PG.
You can know about different PG entrance examination at

* if you clear PG entrance examination ,then on the basis of ranked by you in the examination you can get a seat in MS/MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology .
* Pursue your MS/MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology after the completion of which you become and can practice as obstetrician-gynecologist
