The pursue the software engineering right after your 10nth then you are left with one option, you can go for Diploma in computer science that is a related field which of 3 years and after that by taking lateral entry in of the engineering college from computer science branch will lead you to have a good job and good amount of knowledge about software.
Or you can pursue btech from computer science after opting science stream (pcm physics chemistry mathematics) in your 10+2 will also lead to be a software engineer.

Raj, you need to take up Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your subjects in your 11th and 12th. You can take any vocational subject instead of Chemistry too. And in your 12th, you need to appear for any of the B.Tech entrance examinations like JEE, VITEEE, KIITEEE,etc. You can also participate in TNEA. And during counselling based on your rank, you can take up Computer Science Engineering in B.Tech. And after completion of the course, you can get placed in ITs with different job profiles.
