NEET score is very important . After NEET in the AFMC process there will be a ToELr test comprising of simple English and logical reasoning questions. Later there will be an interview. Prior to that u will have a pre interview counseling whr u will be asked whether u have any certificates related to sports or extra curriculars. If u have them, it will of great help as it will add on to the interview score.

The scoring pattern is 720(NEET)+80(TOELR)=800/4=200.

Interview carries 50 marks solidly. So,200+50=250.

So,final merit list is based on this score of 250.

A NEET score of above 520 is safe. If u have any military background it will add points in ur interview. Interview is the most important thing. U won't be asked on ur academics. It would be on your interests, hobbies, talents etc. Just be truthful to them be confident and u have to convince them that you are fit for AFMC.

now since there are only three medical entrance examinations at the UG level things have become very simple you either have to appear for neet for getting admission to any college across India except AIIMS and jipmer which includes armed forces medical college so for getting admitted into it you need to appear for neet and qualify in it with a marks good enough for your consideration of qualification and counselling in AFMC Pune and you will be subsequently interviewed and screen by them based on their eligibility criterion thereafter
