Hello!

You can refer the following books to help you self study and prepare for ugc net psychology exam: trueman's ugc net/set psychology which is a comprehensive book mainly for competitive exam, arihant publications, Upkar's ugc net solved papers for psychology, Psychology: From Science to Practice by robert a baron, Social Psychology by arun kumar singh,

Preparation guide :

  • Focus on clearing basics for each topic and then attempt a series of practice sets.
  • Do more self study rather than spending all your time in coachings.
  • Make your handwritten notes.
  • Don't skip topics as the exam is objective.
  • Time management is very important.
  • Attempt lots of model test papers and mock exams.
  • Do not panic if you don't know any answer & keep yourself motivated throughout.

I hope this helps.
