Examinations you need to give in order to avail scholarships:



You need to give exams like GRE and TOEFL or Ielts in order to be eligible to join a university and avail any scholarship.

• TOEFL iBT is a four hour computerised examination testing you in four sections, namely reading, listening, speaking and writing.
• IELTS comprises of four sections namely reading, listening, writing and speaking.
• GRE covers skills like analytical writing, critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and verbal reasoning.

Scholarships for postgraduate studies abroad are as follows:

• The Boren Awards: Scholarships given to students planning on studying in the UK. It cover tution and living expenses.
• Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS): It is a scholarship funded by the government of Malaysia and awarded to international students wanting to study in Malaysian Universities.

• Eiffel Eschellence Scholarship Programme (France): It is provided to international students wanting to pursue their Master's or Ph.D in French universities. The scholarship does not cover tution fees, but it provides the students with monthly stipend, health insurance, travel expenses and an allowance to participate in various cultural activities.
• Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships (Switzerland): The Swiss Government provides various scholarships to international students wanting to pursue their postragraduation in Switzerland. These scholarships cover various public funded universities for programmes to pursue Master's and doctorate degrees.
• Gates Cambridge Scholarships (UK): These are one of the most prestigious scholarships open to international students from all over the world. The scholarship offers full cost programme support to students wanting to pursue an education in the University of Cambridge. It covers maintenance allowances, tution fees, airfare etc.
• Clarendon Scholarships at University of Oxford (UK): It provides scholarships to graduate applicants at the University of Oxford. It is provided on the basis of academic achievements and potential. The scholarships covers college and tution expenses and provides living allowances.
• Schwarzman Scholars Program at Tsinghua University (China): It offers outstanding international students an opportunity to study a year of their Master's in Tsinghua University. It covers college and tution fees, living expenses, travel expenses, an in country study tour, books and supplies, smartphone and laptop, health insurance, and a personal allowance.
• Rotary Foundation Global Study Grants (Global): The scholarship funds graduate and research programmes from one to four years. It is via The Rotary Foundation that these grants are given.
• Trudeau Scholarships (Canada): It is a prestigious grant offered in Canada. It cover three years of study. It also covers travel expenses, excursions and professional development.
• Swedish Scholarships for International Students (Sweden): The Sweden Institute provides scholarships to highly excelling and qualified international students from developing countries wishing to pursue Master's in Sweden. It covers tution fee, travel grant, living expenses and insurance.

Dear Deepak, for any University abroad to provide you scholarship, you havevtobhavecan impeccable academic record. And most Universities offer Financial Assistance and not Scholarship. There are many countries that offer MS and many courses that are categorised as MS. We will need more details on this front like your highest qualification, the country and course you are choosing. You need to appear for IELTS/TOEFL/GRE to be able to study abroad. And depending on these scores,  your application gets shortlisted by the University. In short better the IELTS/TOEFL/GRE score, better the University.
