Hi,

It is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non native English language speakers. The main objective of the test is to assess the listening, reading and writing skills of the candidates. To prepare for IELTS by yourself you can start by watching and listening programmes conducted in English (without subtitles are better) and can improve the pronunciation and vocabulary. Also start reading articles with proper pronunciation. There are videos available in YouTube which might help you to prepare for the exam. There are also so many online and offline books which will help you to prepare for the exam. Some of them are

  • The Official Cambridge Guide To Ielts Student's -
Book by Amanda French, Pauline Cullen, and Vanessa Jakeman
  • Cambridge Vocabulary for IELTS Advanced with Answers: Self-study Vocabulary Practice
Book by Pauline Cullen

This are some books. You can buy it and prepare yourself .All the best.
