I want to go for BPT COURSE what are the job opportunities and top college and cut off for it ?
Dear Shubhangi,
Since the question was asked months ago, i hope you have got admission in any decent college. Courses taught in Physiotherapy entail the study of physical medicine and rehabilitation through mechanical force and movements, remedying impairments and initiation of mobility, function and quality of life through examination, diagnosis, etc. Many colleges offer BPT course and eligibility criteria and cutoff vary from college to college-
Colleges offering BPT course are-
Apollo College of Physiotherapy Hyderabad
Indian Institute of Health Education & Research Patna
Institute of Physically Handicapped New Delhi
Government Medical College Nagpur

There is good scope after the course. Physiotherapists are needed in every department of hospitals. You can also work independently. Hospitals need Physiotherapists good at working with patients, treating their physical problems, developing treatment programmes, encouraging exercises and movement by use of techniques, assisting patients following surgery, enhancing tolerance in exercise and daily activities and educating about various therapy programmes.
Good Luck!
