I want to join in BE with course is best petroleum or chemical and my cut off is 187.75

I prefer you to take petroleum engineering. Some of my relatives have taken that course. They prefer petroleum engineering than that of chemical engineering. But I will suggest you to take the course in which you have interest.

Although to join in a course which is interesting to us but the job opportunities are poor nowadays,so our thoughts says to chose a course of more salary .Is it correct thing please reply to my qn

As both branches are good but I would suggest you to consider your interest and potential before choosing any branch.
