National Cadet Corps (NCC) , you can join NCC unit after 10th most of the
schools / colleges provide this course and you can also join when you start pursuing graduation . Most of the Institution provides this courses.
And there is also an option to join open cadet course if Your Institution does not Provide this course.
Age limit for junior division wing for class 8-10 with age limit 13 on wards.
The Age Limit for a student in senior division wing maximum age limit upto 26 ,Enrollment period is 3 Yrs.
Eligibility criteria for this course are listed below :-
1) Candidate must be the citizen of India
2) Candidate must be enrolled in an educational Institute
3)Candidate must be physically and Mentally fit

NCC refers to the Indian military cadet corps that offer the qualities of discipline and patriotism among aspirants. The course is available for the students where they are introduced with military training in small arms or parades. With the help of different competitions and practical knowledge of the outside world, it helps make a candidate confident. Moreover, students can add NCC to their learning and aptitude activities. The NCC course is available in both junior as well as senior wings. The students of the 9th to 12th class can join NCC in junior wings, and students after 12th can participate in high wings.
The students applying for NCC must be citizens of India. The candidates applying for the NCC course should meet the medical standards prescribed by the college. After that, a physical examination is conducted, and the students have to clear that exam to get eligible for the course.
All the regular students of schools and colleges can join the NCC on a voluntary basis. The students have no liability for active military service. The minimum age limit to join NCC is 13 years and the maximum age limit is 26 years.
