Hello Versha,
Admission procedure into any BPT course is generally undertaken from 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as major subjects with an aggregate score of at least 50%. The minimum percentage requirement is relaxed for backward category aspirants from OBC, SC, and ST. The minimum age is always 17 years by the end of the year in which admission is undertaken.
Admissions to BPT courses are merit-based at most places, either based on the 12th standard marks or entrance tests held by certain universities or state-managed bodies. A few of the highly renowned entrance examinations are NEET-UG, IPU CET, and state-level exams. After clearing the entrance test, students are liable to go through a counseling process wherein seats are assigned based on rank and preferences.
Fee Structure:
The fee differs from institution to institution offering BPT programs. Most of the government colleges charge a fee quite understandably and reasonably between 30,000 to 1,00,000 per year. Private institutions charge between 1,00,000 to 3,00,000 per year. Besides all this, a student has books, clinical materials, etc. to purchase.
All specific college sites have to be surfed before applying with updated fees and admission criteria.
Thankyou.
