Hello Aspirant,
Civil engineering is the fanciest stream in the Engineering. I mean a civil engineer can give most of the exams. If any exams asked for B.tech as qualification then most of the time civil engineer can apply for that exam. Here is the list of some important government jobs for which a civil engineer can apply -
Civil services:- Most famous exam nowadays. You can see that in the results, most qualified students are the engineer and most of them are civil engineers. Civil Services exams such as IAS (Indian Administrative Service) or IPS (Indian Police Service). It is one of the toughest exams to crack and there lies a huge competition. Need to be well prepared for this exam and Believe in yourself.
State PSC:- State public service commission also conduct engineering examination, the candidates selected through these examinations get to work under the state governments departments like - PWD, road development corporations, irrigation, VVN.
SSC :- Staff service commission, again a famous option for a civil engineer.
Gate:- For higher studies like M.tech, GATE is compulsory, a candidate is awarded government colleges relevant to his/ her gate score. Many PSU recruits through Gate, here are some names - Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), NTPC Ltd, GAIL India Ltd, ONGC, Power Grid Corporation Of India, NPCIL, POSOCO, DDA and many more. They also give a remarkable package.
IES:- Indian engineering service conducted by UPSC.

These are some Govt. Exams available for civil engineer. In my opinion, civil engineers have a wide scope for the selection of jobs.
Exams to sit for if you wish to pursue Higher studies:
MBA or M. Tech -
If you wish to go for management studies then, you have to attempt CAT (most preferred exam for MBA studies) with your engineering degree. If you are fortunate enough, you may get into some IIM. But there are some other exams too for management studies like MAT, SNAP, XAT, etc.
For M. Tech again you can get it through GATE. You can specialize in the following streams
Structural Engineering, Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering, Environment Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, Soil & Foundation Engineering.
The duration of the course is two years. For this, you need to prepare well for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) to get admission in IITs, IISC or NITs.
Higher studies abroad: YOu can sit for exams like GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, etc. Then you can get a chance to do your MS from foreign universities.
Whatever you do be confident and believe in yourself.
All the best!
