Hello aspirant,

After completing Class 12, anyone interested in pursuing medicine as a career can enrol in the Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). In India, BAMS is an undergraduate medical school based on Ayurveda, a traditional healing practise. The BAMS programme covers all aspects of 'Ashtanga Ayurveda,' as well as scientific developments in modern medicine and thorough practical instruction. The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) is the governing authority for Ayurveda education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as the practise of Ayurvedic medicine in India.
