Raja Subodh Chandra Mallik, Brajendra Kishore Roychowdhury of Gouripur, Sir Rash Bihari Gosh, poet Rabindranath Tagore and Sri Aurobindo Ghosh played a crucial role in the establishment of NCE.

The drawback of this Colleges is that this College famous for politicals but you can join politics not effect your study.
