JEE Mains paper1 consists of 75 questions each with 4 marks for correct answer and -1 mark for incorrect answer. There are three sections of Mathematics ,Physics and Chemistry, each section containing 25 questions. Out of 25 questions, 20 questions are MCQ questions and 5 questions are integer value questions in each section. You have to give an integer value as the final answer of these questions. For integer value questions, there is no negative marking.
The paper is of 180 minutes or 3 hours. The total marks of exam is 300.

Hi, the pattern of jee mains is:
Maximum marks: 300
Number of questions: 75
Weightage in each section: 100
Marking scheme: Correct Answer- 4 Marks Wrong Answer- (-1 for MCQ questions), no negative marking for numerical type questions
Type of questions: 60 Multiple Type Questions and 15 Numerical Value Questions
From the subject perspective, there will be total of three sections in the paper namely mathematics, physics and chemistry. Each of the section will consist a total of 25 questions carrying 4 marks each. Out of the 25 questions in each section 20 questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and the rest of the 5 questions are numerical value type questions.
