I want to know entrance exam for direction in TV AND FILM

Thank you for the question. I am listing a few institutes for a degree programme in Direction, as you have not mentioned the level of the degree you are looking for either UG or PG.
Mostly every institute conducts their own institute/UNiversity specific entrance test, basis which admissions are finalised. This year onwards FTII and SRFTI, the top PG film institutes of India, are conducting one Joint Entrance Test (JET) ForAdmissions.

Film Direction is one of those arts which is less dependant on your degree and more on your passion. I personally know many film makers who have not undergone any formal training in film direction but have directed many award-winning short-films.
