The United Institute of Technology (UIT) in Allahabad was founded in 2007. It is connected with Lucknow's Abdul Kalam Technical University and has the All India Council for Technical Education's approval (AICTE). UIT provides B.Tech degrees in CS, EC, EN, IT, ME, and Civil Engineering, as well as M.Tech degrees in CS and EC. Shri Shiv Ram Das Gulati formed the United Group of Institutions (UGI) in 1951.
