I want to know how to prepare for m.sc forensic science entrance?

Forensic Science can be grouped into three Types:
Medical-It is a broad medical subject which includes forensic pathology, psychiatry, psychology, forensic medicine and ontology.
Laboratory-It includes chemistry, biology, toxicology, ballistics, fingerprints, questioned documents and marks & impressions.
Field Sciences - It includes crime scene investigation which incorporates areas such as fire and explosion scenes and clandestine drug laboratories.
Examination Pattern:
*There will be two question papers. UGC NET Forensic Science Paper I
It will cover 50 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 100 marks
*UGC NET Forensic Science Paper II will have two Parts – A and B.
Part – A will have 10 short essay type questions carrying 16 marks each. There will be one question from each unit with internal choice from the same unit. Total marks will be 160
Part – B will be compulsory .The question can be asked in the syllabus only. The candidate will attempt one question from Part – B carrying 40 marks.
Total marks of UGC NET Forensic Science Paper III will be 200.
Forensic science comprises of almost of science subjects and you should give more attention towards the B.Sc. syllabus under all these subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Psychology, Toxicology, Forensic medicine.
Other than this basic science and maths of class 12th is also important to revise.

1. Acquaint yourself with the Exam Pattern – While preparing, familiarise yourself with the paper pattern. Doing so will help you in analysing and preparing a proper time-schedule.
2. Prepare a suitable time-table – After going through the pattern and Syllabus thoroughly, prepare a schedule as per your comfort. Keep the pointers listed below before starting with your preparations:
- Weak sections, do not know the methods, to approach
- Average sections, need more practice
- Strong sections which need less attention.
3. Revision of Syllabus – The vast syllabus of law exam can leave anybody in confusion. Hence, you should make notes of each topic as per your understanding. Make sure to revise all the notes at the end of the day or week before proceeding to another section or topic.
