Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to MBA programmes offered by B-schools affiliated to the University.
It is a University level entrance exam and is held once a year.

If you wish to appear for the entrance exam, you should know the detailed information related to the exam such as the important dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, application fee, etc. which are as follows-

Important Dates (tentative)

Application process for admission starts in the last week of February.
GGSIPU CET MBA forms are available till the first week of May.
Admit card is released in the fourth week of May.
Exam is held in the last week of May
Result of the IPU CET MBA programme is available generally after one week of the entrance exam.

Eligiblity Criteria to appear for the Common Entrance test.

Candidates should have completed Graduation in any branch. Candidate must possess a degree of minimum three years in any discipline from any recognized University or Institute to be eligible to appear for the exam.
Candidates are also required to have scored minimum 50 percent marks (or equivalent CGPA)in aggregate of the qualifying examination.

There is no age limit to apply for admission to the MBA programme.

It should be noted that MBA (IT) is also offered by the University and dates and eligibility criteria vary for this programme.
Candidates should have one of the following degree- B. E, B. Tech, M. Sc. (CS/IT/Electronics) and MCA if they wish to apply for admission to MBA (IT) and candidates should have scored minimum 60 percent marks in aggregate.

Candidates in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for admission. Final year candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of admission/counselling.

Registration or application process to appear for GGSIPU CET MBA is completely online. Candidates can register and apply for admission through the official website of the University.
Steps to fill the application form are-
Step 1- Candidates have to register themselves.
Step 2- Candidates have to upload the scanned documents such as scanned images of photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression. It is important to upload the documents as per the mentioned file size and dimensions.
Step 3- Candidates have to fill the Qualification details
Step 4- Candidates are required to submit the Declaration
Step 5- Login ID and Password of candidate is generated. Candidates can use this login ID and password for further login.
Step 6- Course Application
Step 7- candidates have to make payment of fee
Step 8- Course Registration and form generation is the last step

Exam Pattern
Mode of the exam- Computer Based.
Duration of the exam- 150 minutes or 2.5 hours
Pattern of the test- Questions in the entrance exam are asked in the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format.

A total of 100 questions are asked in the exam from the following four sections-
English Language & Comprehension, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, Reasoning Ability & Data Interpretation.
30 questions are asked from English Language & Comprehension, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability & Data Interpretation  sections each and
10 questions are asked from the General Awareness section making a total of 100 questions.
Marking Scheme- There is marking scheme for each wrong answer. For every correct answer four marks are awarded to the candidate and for every incorrect answer one mark is deducted.

Also, there are various B-schools affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Placement records vary from college to college. However, average placement is around Rs 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. Some of the decent B-Schools affiliated to the University are
