Hello,
If you are planning to appear for the BSEB Class 12th Improvement Exam and want to understand how your marks will be affected, it’s important to know the policy followed by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) . The BSEB Improvement Exam allows students to improve their scores in specific subjects where they wish to perform better. Under this system, BSEB follows a "Best of Two" policy .
This means that if you appear for the improvement exam and score higher marks than your original scores in any subject, your improved marks will be considered . However, if your marks in the improvement exam are lower than the original marks, then your original marks will remain unchanged . Essentially, only the higher marks from either the original or improvement exam are taken into account, and this ensures that students are not penalized if they do not perform better in the improvement exam.
For example, if you scored 70 marks in a subject initially and later scored 65 marks in the improvement exam, your original score of 70 marks would remain. However, if you scored 75 marks in the improvement exam, your new marks of 75 would be considered. This system gives students a fair chance to improve without the risk of reducing their previous scores.
The improvement option is available for all subjects, even if you have already passed them. Students can attempt to improve their marks in any subject. This approach helps students enhance their overall performance and provides an opportunity to improve their final results without any disadvantage.
In conclusion, BSEB’s Best of Two policy ensures that students can improve their marks without worrying about the possibility of their scores being negatively affected. It’s always good to check the official BSEB guidelines for any updates before proceeding.
Hello ADITYA,
In the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Class 12th improvement exam, here’s what happens:
-
Marks in Improvement Subjects :
-
If you appear for the improvement exam for any subject, your
new marks will be considered
, regardless of whether they are higher or lower than the original marks.
-
If you score lower in the improvement exam
, the
new marks
will be considered, replacing the previous marks.
-
If you appear for the improvement exam for any subject, your
new marks will be considered
, regardless of whether they are higher or lower than the original marks.
-
Best of Two :
-
BSEB does not follow a 'Best of Two' policy
for the improvement exams.
-
If you improve in any subject
, your
new marks
replace the old marks for that subject, even if the new marks are lower.
Key Point:
-
BSEB does not follow a 'Best of Two' policy
for the improvement exams.
If you do not improve your score, the
original marks will still stand
for that subject. If you improve, the
new marks replace the old ones
for that subject. There is no "best of two" system where only the higher marks are taken into account.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
