The process for engineering admission in maharashtra through MHTCET is given below.

Step 1 - MHT CET 2021 Counselling registration - Candidates will have to first get themselves registered for the MHT CET counselling 2021. Visit the MHT CET official website and enter the following details:

• Region

Candidates will have to select their type of candidature according to their category. They have to select from the following categories based on their eligibility:

• Maharashtra State Candidature (Type A/ B/ C/ D/ E)

• OMS

• J&K Migrant

• Foreign Students

• NRI

• PIO/ OCI

• CIWGC

• GoI

The registration process of MHT CET counselling 2021 will also include answering security questions and setting up a password.

Step 2 - Qualification Details - Once the MHT CET counselling registration process is over, candidates will next have to enter the details of their Class 10th & 12th. Candidates will also be required to submit information related to MHT CET 2021.

Step 3 - Uploading of documents - Next, uploading of scanned images of photograph and signature has to be uploaded.

Step 4 - Payment of application fee - Candidates applying through JEE Main will have to make the payment of the MHT CET counselling 2021 form. The payment has to be done in online mode. There is no counselling fee for MHT CET 2021 qualified candidates.

Step 5- Print out of Counselling Registration Form - Students will have to take a printout of the filled in MHT CET counselling 2021 form. They will have to present it at the time of document verification.

Step 6- Reporting at Facilitation Centres (FC) - Candidates will have to report at their designated FC for the verification of the documents. Students are advised to carry their original documents along with a set of attested copies at the facilitation centres. Candidates failing to report at the facilitation centre will not be allowed to participate in the admission process further.

Step 7 - MHT CET Choice filling - In the next step, candidates will have to do the choice filling by choosing the names of colleges and courses in the order of their preference. Choice filling will be open for every round.

Step 8 - Publication of merit list - Finally, the authorities will publish the provisional and final merit list of MHT CET 2021. It will consist of the names of shortlisted candidates. Mhtcet seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit list released and choices filled by the candidates.
