Hello,

if you want make a career in research field with Biotechnology then you will have to do give a long duration into studies.Since, you did not have Maths in your class 12th, you cant pursue B.Tech in Biotechnology. But you can do B.Sc in biotechnology.
Here are some of the best colleges in which youcan apply for the course.
St Xaviers College, Ahmedabad
Christ University, Bangalore
Fergusson College, Pune
Ramjas College, University of Delhi

After graduation, if you will get placement, i would suggest you to work for sometime and understand everything practically. After that you can move on to do a M.Sc in Biotechnology and after that you will have to do a Ph.D and you will successfully become researcher in Biotechnology field.
In coming years i can assure you that this field will have a humongous growth and scope and especially after this COVID-19 pandemic. Now, our country as well as all most countries all over the world will try to strengthen their medical and health sector and more and more investment will be done to enhance this sector. So, you have chose a wonderful path and i wish you best of luck for that.

riyakumari5799 See, if you will do M.Sc after completing B.Sc then the eligibility criteria for that is you should have done your B.Sc degree in Biological sciences or Life sciences. After that you will be eligible for appearing in exams lime JNU CEEB,IIT JAM and GATE through which you can do Masters in Biotechnology
