Hello,

The minimum eligibility to join for MBA in any reputed institute is 50% marks in UG from a recognized university and good percentile in national level entrance tests or admission seeking institute test LPUNEST(Lovely Professional University), SRMJEEM(SRM University) and DSAT(Dayanand Sagar University). As you have 49% in UG you cant join in any reputed institute.  My suggestion for you is that improve the marks by attending the retest and secure more than 50% marks.

Hope this information will help you. Best wishes.

Good Luck!

Hello,

A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university.

An honors degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act with at least 50% marks in aggregate including languagesCandidates who have passed Bachelor/ Master degree through correspondence / Open University System from this university or from any other university, recognized by law, are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degree programme must be 3 + 2 years.

I am afraid my friend you won't be able to give cat exam but you can give xat and other exams.

I wish you all the best.

Cheers !!

To appear in CAT exam having more than 50% marks for General, OBC category and 45% for SC/ST category in 10th, 12th and graduation is mandatory. Having less than 50% marks in graduation you won't be able to sit in the CAT exam.

This is the criteria followed by most of the exams. But you can sit in XAT exam which does not follow such criteria and also the marks of XAT exam are used by many colleges in order to give admission or call students for next round. Still with low percentage it will be a little hard to find a good college. Try your best to score a very high percentile in order to cover the loss due to academic records.

All the best for your preparations and exams!!
