I want to practice counselling psychology. should I choose it after completing 2 years of MA psychology or are there any separate majors to choose in the beginning of the course
Dear Candidate,You can look for colleges that offer MA/MSc in counseling psychology. Though you can work as a counselor even if you have done masters in applied psychology, still try to look for a specialized course as it will give you a good amount of exposure to the field settings and conditions.
Hello hello,
To become a psychology counsellor, you can choose it after completing a 2 years MA focussed on Psychology. It would be better for you because it improves your value and efficiency. By pursuing a degree in MA you will get a good amount of knowledge. I think there is no separate course in the beginning but there are many specializations available in Foreign countries.
So, it is better if you choose to practise for your master's degree.
