see staff selection commission exams are generally for graduate degree holders, junior engineers position for diploma/ b.tech degree holders, also some post comes as for statistical officers, however mainly the recruitment comes for graduate degree holders , students of any of the education background may apply for this type of recruitment, now you may take admission in colleges under du in any of the ug course and take preparation for ssc exam, believe me your ug course has nothing common in syllabus with ssc exams, ssc exams exams pattern is mcq based and computer based exam, questions comes from english, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, verbal and logical reasoning . so just choose the course as per your interest for the subjects.
