For Jyoti Nivas College, it is required to have a minimum  score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) in both 10th and 12th education levels.Physics, Biology and Chemistry should be included as subjecs  at 10+2 level with a minimum combined score of 60%.

For admission to the course, eligible candidates need to qualify any one of the the entrance examinations listed below:

• AIIMS Biotechnology Entrance Test
  
• JNU Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination
• DU Biotechnology Entrance Examination
