Hello I am Manavi Didwania, a student of DPS megacity, Kolkata, presently studying in class 12.I want to pursue Economics honours but i m confused between BA honours and Bsc i want to know the scope and combinations of both these, and what all can i become. What is the highest scope.
See both BA Hons and BSc Hons are very similar for most of the universities. SO you have nothing to worry about. In general, the most preferred exam after BSc is the IIT JAM which gives you a scope to do masters in your IIT. In this exam also BSc and BA both are eligible. So you can choose any of it but if you have nothing so boring about Mathematics then go for BSc and take Mathematics as a Generic elective. This will help you in your career ahead.
Some of the work profiles you can work on after your MSc are:
-
Professional Economist
-
Financial Risk Analyst
-
Data Analyst (Banking Sector)
Financial Planner (Banking Sector)
Financial Controller/Financial Economist
Equity Analyst
Cost Accountant
Economic Researcher
Business Economist
Agricultural Economist
International Economist (Specialization)
Industrial Economist (Specialization)
Labour Economist (Specialization)
