I want to pursue LLB from a good college. My aim is not to practice in court but to work in a company' s legal department. How to conceive ?

After you complete your graduation in LLB (5 or 3 years- depends on your current qualification) you can apply as a corporate lawyer.

To become a corporate lawyer you must have strong analytic skills, good interpersonal skills and a keen understanding of the business environment. Though corporate law pays well, it can also involve long working hours.

Later with your gain in experience and skills you can pursue LLM and specialize in your area of interest.

Good Luck.
