I want to pursue M.sc Agronomy. Which papers should I appear for?
MSc in Agronomy is a postgraduate programme which deals with the study of crops and the soils in which they grow. It is a two-year programme, divided into four semesters in which one learns about the basic concepts in the field of agriculture.
To be eligible to get admission in this course, candidates must have completed bachelors degree from a recognized university with min 50% marks and min 45% for SC or ST candidates.
Students who have given the final year examination and waiting for their result, they are also eligible to apply for the course. However; they will have to submit their final degree result before the admission procedure ends.
There are various entrance exams which you can give to pursue msc in agronomy . The most important one is icar pg exam which is an all india level exam for agriculture graduates. The top rankers in the exam are provided scholarships also .
There are several other entrance exams like gbpuat entrance exam for msc students, banaras hindu University entrance exam , punjab agriculture University entrance exams, etc. These are the top universities which conduct their own entrance exams so do register for them also.
