I want to show my family business as work ex, so is it okay to show designation as assistant ?

You can show your family business as work experience only if it is a professional business not a personal business and more importantly only you can if you have truly worked in that.Because at the time of interview or at some other time if you are encountered a question you should be able to answer and give a quick response about that.

If it is professional you can write your designation as Accountant, Software developer,s selling associate.whatever you feel comfortable use that
As assistant is okay ?
