If you are preparing for jee let me tell you this is the best time when you can start.Whatever you study in class 9 in physics ,each and every thing you will have to study in class 11 but indepth.If you are really serious for your career i think you should solve some questions from HC Verma  Physics Part 1.You will really get benefit .At your level very few students try for it those who are in coaching and when you will be in 11 ,they will completely all class 12 question .In this way they learn more before time and get good rank either in jee or neet.So i would suggest you NCERT is fine you can some reference books like
