I want to study engineering.For that i want to join coaching classes.Should I go to Kota or join a coaching institute here in Guwahati?

Dear Pallavi,
It's good choice and for joining into engineering you need to crack some exams according to college preferences. Based on your comfort, you can join the one near to home but just follow the rule Practice everything. At least spare some time on that, everyday. If you are really interested in Physics, start with this subject or try once and then if you are not go with maths and Chemistry.

You can join any coaching institute according to your comfort and location.

If you want to crack your exam it totally depends on you coaching institutes can only guide you. So, it is better you choose the coaching according to your convenience
