I want to study for Mass communication in future . Currently I am read in class 12 . How shall I prepare myself from now ?

Mass Communication as a career involves communicating to a large group of people through various sources such as newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, films, advertisements, public relations etc. All the career options of mass communication related jobs, are meeting tight deadlines. Media people have to work under pressure as they have to meet the deadlines. A ‘news’ for instance cannot to taken lightly and put off for another day as it would become stale and won’t sell. A journalist has to rush whenever any news breaks in. He/She has a 24-hour job. A copywriter too has to meet the deadlines. Other job profiles in this field include media planner, TV producer, camera person, public relations etc.
Personal Attributes
To be suited to mass communication, one must have a passion for language and words, written or spoken. The ability to think critically, an attention to detail and superb organization skills are also important. Different areas asks for different qualities, but for anyone to take on any of the fields of mass communication definitely requires dedication, hard-work, and lots of physical stamina for the long hours of work.
How to Enter?
In most of the Universities/Colleges, Entrance Examination and Personal Interview is conducted to select students. The syllabus for entrance exam includes questions from General Awareness, Current Affairs, English Comprehension, English Vocabulary, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Critical Analysis, Creative Thinking, Data Interpretation, and Media Aptitude.
