Many universities and institutions in Singapore require you to take examination like SAT or ACT, IELTS or TOEFL, SAT Subject Test etc. in order to be eligible to compete for seats at your desired university. All these examinations are internationally recognised examinations which test you in subjects like English, science, mathematics, social science, humanities, listening, speaking and writing tasks. 1. For testing English:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

It requires you to do a full time undergraduate degree course at the NTU University. It looks at you academic records, co curricular records and leadership potential. It cover tuition fee, gives a living allowance, accommodation allowance, travel costs to and from Singapore.
- Nanyang Scholarship: This scholarship to outstanding students in their undergraduate degree programme. It requires you to do a full time undergraduate degree course at the Nanyang University. It looks at you academic records, co curricular records and leadership potential. It cover tuition fee, gives a living allowance, accommodation allowance, travel costs to and from Singapore.
- Along with scholarships, many universities also help you with getting part-time in or off campus. This will help you with your expenses.
