I want to study M.Sc physics in iisc.But there is m.sc physics and integrated pH.d.I want to study M.sc physics in one college and integrated pH.d in another college.How is exam conducting and teaching in iisc.? Please explain it

Hi,
The admission to integrated M.Sc programs in iisc is taken through the JAM exam followed by a interview.
If you want to do only Master's at iisc you can take exit and opt M.Sc only. In that case a MS thesis must be submitted by the end of third year after giving the colloquium. It means if you leave with msc.degree only you are required to complete it in three years.
After completing the M.Sc from iisc you can do Ph.D course from other university if you want.
