Wherever you are applying to get admission you have to acknowledge them about your query,and diploma students as lateral entries are accepted by other colleges easily,You just have to apply before the time is gone and then the left document of your final result,just submit is when it is out.Inform the administration about your query and you will get admission.

as per your query yes you can take  admission in any of the maharashtra coolege by your diploma degree .but firstly you have to apply your form in which college you have to take admission futher tell them to wait for your upcomig result .

dont worry as the admissions starts in August and all the colleges have different counselling for admission in btech(lateral entry).

Although you might want to contact the college to get admission in since different colleges have different criterias and different counselling dates.
