There are different factors that you have to follow to be a member of AMIE, there are different posts under which they can't register
After registering as a member, by filling up the Application form at a specific time you can appear in the examination which happens twice a year either in the month of June or December. After paying the Application fee you can apply for the exam!!!

Hello Varsha,
AMIE full form is Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers. You have you fill up the AMIE application form and submit it. Institution of Engineers in India, conducts AMIE entrance exam for admission into B.E/ B.Tech courses, you need to appear in the entrance exam and score well for getting admission. If you are shortlisted then you can get seat.
To be eligible for this course candidates must have passed with minimum 45 percentage to 50 percentage 10+2 or equivalent exam with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics from a recognised Board. For these candidates course is 4 years.
Also, students who passed Diploma in Engineering with minimum 45 percentage to 50 percentage from a recognised Board are eligible for this course. For them it is 3 years course.
