I want to take admission in Bio-medical engineering but I want to know about bio medical engineering.
Biomedical engineering is a course which is basically the study of tissue engineering, molecular or systems level biology and mathematics. You will get to learn about biomedical electronics, also you will get to know about quantitative and analytical skills which are necessary to analyze the data collected. You will also get the opportunity to learn imaging and enhancement techniques. This course is very interesting if one has the zeal to learn.
Also, I would like to add that since this is a technical course job opportunities are also more. Some people go for Biochemistry and some other BSc courses. Those kind of courses are for people who want to make a teaching career or who want go for research in future.
If you are a tech geek you should definitely go for this course.
Many colleges offer this course including top notch college like IIT Bombay. Aim high!

BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING is one of the most important and very unique field of study in the genre of engineering. The core purpose of this engineering course is to engineer new techniques and build machines which can help in the detection of diseases/ innovate technology to increase precision in medical practices. Some of the example of Biomedical Engineering are:
- You have seen robotic hands which are used to do operations.
- Oxymeter/ICU ventilators.
- MRI Machines/XRay machines
All this are the common examples of Biomedical engineering and its application. Thus if you are interested to resolve technical difficulties in medical fields and want to apply your knowledge to innovate new ways in order to improve this procedures then Biomedical Engineering is the field you should go for.
