I want to take admission in JD BIRLA at kolkata in BBA, so what is the procedure??
Hello Ruchi,
The selection of the candidates for B.Com course is done based on merit in 10+2 and performance in Group Interview.
Eligibility Criteria :
- 10+2/ HSC with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
- The aggregate marks are calculated adding the score of best four subjects in 10+2 of which English is a compulsory one.
Selection Procedure
:
- Apply for the course by filling up the admission form. (Available online and at the institute too).
- A list will be released for the Personal Interview of the shortlisted applicants.
- Stay calm and give the interview well. (The questions asked are practical and easy to answer).
- Generally people getting 80–82% above are shortlisted for the Personal Interview.
- For giving the Personal Interview, you must be aware of the current affairs and brush up your general knowledge. Sometimes they may end up asking questions from current affairs and stuff.
- Most important, please do mention your extra curricular activities and achievements. They are of great help in scoring during the selection process.
Since, Jd Birla have bcom only for girls and is considerded as best BBA collage in Kolkata, it has a high cut-off of upto 85–90%.
Hope this helps!!
All the best :)
