LPU is ranked 62nd on the list of all the government and private universities of the country. Chandigarh university has an enviable campus well equipped with wi-fi and ultra modern infrastructure .The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) promoted by the Honorable Indian Ministry for Education is a body dedicated to rank institutions across the country.

As per NIRF rankings 2021 Chandigarh University is ranked 45th in Management education where as Chitkara University is ranked 54th.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions. NIRF ranking system is done on taking ito account different parameters like quality of education, research output, graduation outcome, average packages offered during placements, campus facilities, outreach, inclusivity etc. So sometimes there might be a case when a private college is ranked better than a govt. college.

Chandigarh University is ranked 77th whereas LPU is ranked 99th. But drawing out a conclusion based on ranking is not advisable.

I suggest you to look after the imporant criteria you are looking for in a college and better go for it.
