Your admission in MBA is basically a 2 step process:-
*First you have to qualify entrance like CAT/MAT /XAT etc and then on the basis of your score in the entrance exam ,your academic profile and work experience etc you are shortlisted for the second step
*After getting shortlisted, in the 2nd stage,one has to generally go through at least one of WAT/GD/PI , And,then he/she is finally selected for admission on the basis of performance in these rounds , percentile score in entrance exam, academic profile and work experience etc. The admission process varies from one B school to other.

CAT eligibility criteria says that: To be eligible for CAT , you should be either in your final year of graduation or graduate in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA . SC/ST/PH students need only at least 45 percentage in Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline to be eligible
XAT :- To be eligible for CAT , you should be either in your final year of graduation or graduate in any discipline, there is no minimum percentage of Mark required in graduation to be eligible for XAT.
