According to my experience this is the biggest mistake that a student makes thinking that he couldn't handle both college and preparation for next year. But once you get into college then either you can keep up with college performance or with exam preparation. Preparing both sam time leads to disappointing results in both area's.
Hence I would suggest you to go only with one option and move on in life.
Further to predict your college on basis of jee main score you can refer the link given below-

I hope this helps.

hello aspirant,
if you have scored good marks in the jee mains exam, you will surely be able to get admission in any one of the NIT's around the country, but it will be very difficult for you to prepare for the jee 2021 when you are in NIT's .
the academics level won't let you prepare for the 2021 exam, the schedule will become very much challenging for you and you may not get even some free time for your own sake.
if you are not happy with the marks you have scored, you can take a drop year and then prepare for the 2021 exam
or else, if you want to take admission now and then prepare for the exam, it will be a bit challenging for you but with full determination and hardwork you may be able to complete all the challenges .
hope that helps
