Hi Jagdish,

Taking drop is a good idea if you think that you can score better than the previous year. You should have confidence, that's the most important thing. Prepare for those parts first which you think that you can do better this year and cover those sections in which you didn't do according to your expectations. Paper won't be easy as we all know, but it's all just about time management, and knowing the question of which you can definitely get answer. It's important to know what you can answer but the thing which is more important is to know what you cannot answer, so don't waste your time in those questions. Also join online test series if you are preparing at home by yourself, they'll help you to improve your section wise performance and time management skills. Taking regular tests are very important. It's time for you make list of the parts you can definitely score in and don't waste your time much in the parts which you think can be left. Hope you get a good score nest year.

All the best and do ask for any further queries.

Hello dear

From the start, refer solely necessary books. NCERT category eleven and twelve books square measure most vital whereas getting ready for the doorway examination. with the exception of that, choose at the most 2 reference books to organize from.

Manage time properly. don't assume that you simply have enough time. there's just enough time to check, practise and revise. Utilize each minute. If you're not attending employment categories, time is in your favor.

Use free on-line mock tests and different resources to assess yourself.

Do not use the learn-by-heart technique. you would like to grasp what you're finding out. The IIT JEE Advanced examination tests your understanding and not however smart you're at committal to memory.

Ask queries in school. don't have any doubts in your mind. If there's any topic you can't perceive, raise your teacher.

Solve previous year IIT JEE Papers. tho' the queries square measure ne'er perennial, you'll get a really correct plan of the amount of queries asked.

Do not skip any topic. bear in mind that each one topics that square measure mentioned within the IIT JEE Advanced curriculum square measure necessary. though somebody tells you that a specific topic is rarely asked within the examination, don't give ear. it's necessary that you simply cowl all topics.

  • If you are thinking of taking a drop for Jee , then you need to be serious from the very first day.
  • You need to go through the Ncert very deep and all the concepts should be in your fingertips.
  • For Jee Main , apart from the Ncert you can refer to some of the reference books and solve more and more of numericals.
  • For Jee Advanced, you need to have a very strong grip and command on every single topic and concept and numericals.
  • If you're finding tough to understand the topics all by your own, then you can also take Allen's course materials or Video lectures that can accelerate your learning process.
  • You need to be honest in approach and strongly determined towards your destined goal..only then you could reach the finishing line and succed.

All the best for your future endeavours!

Hi Jagdish, thanks for your query.

First of all, you have to concentrate completely if you are studying at home. Because you have no friends now with you and you cannot see the competition in front of your eyes, so you have to focus.

Now comes material, you should have all the previous years question papers for practising, it will help you a lot. Clear your concept in all the subjects. Practise questions as much as you can. Previous paper solving is the key. Solve the competitive books question like H.C. Verma for Physics and like this for other subjects.

Also attempt online test series to check your preparation and clear your week areas.

Hope this helps!
