i want to take pcm stream in class 11 from cbse board. what is the pattern?what should i take as extra subject? what are the options in extra subject? & also what are main subject to be taken with pcm stream?
Hello Mr. Anonymous. After 10th standard, you can opt for Science stream and Commerce stream. In science stream you have various options - pure science group, computer science group, bio-math group are standard streams offered in most of the schools. Certain schools offer exceptional subjects. Leaving the exceptions and coming back to your question - you want to take Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics right? You have two options, either you can take computer science group or biological group, both have p-c-m subjects. Cs group has additional computer science as one of the subject whereas bio group has biology as additional subject. Finally, whatever group you take in CBSE, English is mandatory [ MAIN SUBJECT ] as the fifth subject.
